WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU.
TIME , PATIENCE AND WE CATER TO YOU
LearntoSkydive.org is an independent organisation that has partnerships with Training Organisation all over Australia. Understanding that these training organisations are very busy with multiple priorities, our directive is simple. We teach and produce skydivers who would like to advance in the sport. As such our program is designed and personalised so that you have one instructor that will be your mentor through out your license progression. We will take approximately 1.5 hours to prepare you for each individual jump, thorough reenactment on the ground in order to maximise skill acquisition in the air. Before each jump we will ensure you will have practiced all exit and free-fall drills and can draw your landing pattern when flying your parachute. Perfect practice on the ground leads to perfect execution in the air.
WHO IS ON YOUR TEAM?
On your team you will have the following professional staff on your side:
Training Organisation Safety Officer. (DZSO)
Two Jump Instructors (one Jump instructor from stage 4 onwards (Safety Officer discretion)
Target Assistant for parachute landings
Trained and licensed pilot for parachute operations.
ACCESS TO KNOWLEDGE RESOURCES AND PROGRESSION
At training organisations I have worked at, students arrive for their course and have six hours approximately to ingest all the information required to make your first jumps. Let’s face it jumping out of a plane for the first time has its mental challenges that you need to get over. Knowledge retention and peace of mind is reinforced with the more time you have to practice. Taking away time constraints gives the opportunity to process information and increases uptake. The information and knowledge taught is initially divided into nine specific modules. This will give you what you need to exit an aircraft under instructor supervision and land safely. Before we go anywhere near boarding the aircraft, you will be able to instinctively react correctly to finite number of different situations. Students learn differently and uptake information at different rates. We cater to the individual whilst nurturing a group learning environment.
SAVING YOU MONEY
Each stage of the nine stage course costs between $289 - $400 depending on whether you require two jump instructors or one. To minimise the amount of repeat jumps thus saving money is dependant on the preparation before the jump. Most students get stuck between stage 2 and stage 4 because the APF approved training program is designed to move you from a two instructor first jump to a single instructor release jump where you can fly stable with no assistance maintaining a heading. This is very achievable however depending on your physical fitness, flexibility and ability to develop muscle memory, this can hinder progression. As such we can design a fitness program at no charge to get you finding the optimum free-fall position for the quickest progression through these first four stages.
The other major factor for saving money is decision making regarding weather. If we together make the decision to bring the team to the skydiving training organisation, staff costs are incurred. We ensure that we communicate with you to control your costs if there is a risk of not jumping due to inclement weather- this saving you money. This means you can afford to make more skydives when the weather is perfect.
